Need a story spark?

You may not know which story to tell—until we ask the right question.

Your story spark

Family

“What is something your family still teases you about?”
That sparked a memory

If that brought a memory to mind, you’re already ready.

How it comes to life

Every life contains worlds.

You don’t need to write your life story. Just tell us one memory, and we’ll help you discover the story inside it.

Read it. Share it. Preserve it for the people who come next.

01

Find your spark.

Choose a category, answer a playful prompt, or jump directly into a memory already on your mind.

02

Tell it naturally.

Speak or type as though you’re telling a friend. Your Story Guide asks a few simple questions to understand what matters.

03

Watch it come alive.

Choose your visual world and watch your memory become illustrated pages—with a title, chapter, episode and volume.

“The details may bend. The meaning survives.”

The story behind the story

Born from Fish Tales.

My dad has always called the stories of his childhood “Fish Tales.” Were every one of them 100% accurate? Probably not. But nobody cared. We loved the way he told them—and the worlds they opened for us.

That is the spark behind Graphic Novel My Life: preserve not just what happened, but the voice, humor, imagination and emotional truth that made a life unforgettable.

Your life. Your universe.

Tell it as it happened.
Or as it always felt.

The events remain yours. The visual world can be anything that feels true to the person inside the story.

You bring the memory. We’ll help with everything else.

No manuscript. No perfect timeline. No professional photographs.
